SoniX at The Graves

SoniX is an unusual instrumental group of nine talented local musicians playing cello, steel drum, Eurorack synthesizers, piano, melodica, tablas, accordion, upright and electric bass, English horn, bass clarinet, flute, soprano sax and percussion. Original compositions and arrangements by Brian Post and Ryan Ehresman blend electronic and acoustic sounds, incorporating nature recordings of the Amazon jungle at dawn, Prairie Creek and Brown Creek in the Redwoods, and Pacific Tree Frogs recorded locally by Brian Post. The group will utilize the museum's acoustics by performing in different galleries. Tickets
