30th Annual Junque Arte Competition and Exhibition

Celebrating the power of eco-conscious creativity, the Annual Junque Arte Exhibition invites visitors to look at everyday materials through a whole new lens. Designed to showcase North Coast artistic talent while championing environmental sustainability, this juried showcase challenges local artists to transform discarded items into extraordinary works of art. An opening reception is held during First Saturday Night Arts Alive. Humboldt County artist Kati Texas, a sculptor, muralist and the driving force behind Maker's Apron Creative Reuse, serves as the 2026 juror.
