HAC Annual Members Exhibition

The Annual Humboldt Arts Council Member Exhibition is a juried exhibition designed to highlight the art being produced by HAC artist members. The show draws from the visual arts disciplines of drawing, painting, photography, ceramics, sculpture, fiber arts and mixed media, and is open to current members of the Humboldt Arts Council or those who join on entry day. This year Marceau Verdiere, a French-born American visual artist whose work explores memory, impermanence and the quiet passage of time, serves as the selected juror. Born and raised in Alsace, he now divides his time between Northern California and France, creating layered surfaces through repeated acts of building, scraping, sanding and revealing.
