Workshop: Roll Printed Cuffs

Create a copper or brass cuff with an impression of your own design. Resident metalsmith Erin Austin guides participants through creating cuff blanks with a guillotine shear, refining the edges with files and sandpaper, annealing the metal to create malleability, creating paper patterns, impressing the patterns onto metal with a rolling mill, forming the piece into a cuff, and applying patina to bring the design to life. All supplies included. Students must be 18 years or older.
