Sun Up to Sun Down

Creative Sanctuary presents 'Sun Up to Sun Down' — a musical exploration of the unending power of dance with tap dancer Miles Schmidt and the J Street Regulars at the Arcata Playhouse. Friday Sept 4,. Using jazz and tap dance, Schmidt takes audiences on 'a day in the life' — from waking from early morning dreams through work and play, worry and hope, to the return to sleep as stars shine. Music arranged for 5-piece band from the jazz repertoire stretching into the avant-garde, featuring Miles Schmidt (tap), James Zeller (trombone/vocals), Ramsey Isaacs (drums), Matt Seno (piano) and Lee Phillips (upright bass).
