The Arcata Playhouse is a 150-seat community theater in Arcata's Creamery District at 1251 9th Street, operated by the nonprofit Playhouse Arts — Arcata's Local Arts Agency. It hosts hundreds of live music, theater, film, lecture and festival events each year while making its stage, lobby and kitchen spaces available to local organizations. The venue also supports youth and family arts education, free public outdoor festivals, and community programs throughout Humboldt County.
