Samoa Beach

Samoa Beach is a long, flat stretch of dunes and sand on the ocean side of the Samoa Peninsula in Humboldt County, just west of Eureka. Easily reached via New Navy Base Road, it's a short walk from the parking area to the water's edge and draws surfers year-round for its consistent waves. The surrounding Samoa Dunes Recreation Area offers beachcombing, birding, fishing, and hiking out toward the North Jetty at the mouth of Humboldt Bay.
