Coastal Cleanup Month Event

As part of Coastal Cleanup Month 2026, the Peninsula Community Collaborative, RCAA and Northcoast Environmental Center host a volunteer beach cleanup at Samoa Beach on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Meet at the Samoa Power Poles Lot, 127 Sunset Ave, Samoa (coordinates 40.82120, -124.18903). Cleanup supplies provided; bring water, sun protection, comfortable clothes and walking shoes. All volunteers will be entered into a weekly NEC raffle for a locally donated prize. Paper waivers available on site; digital waivers (English/Spanish) available via Action Network — participants under 18 need parent/legal guardian signature. Family and friends welcome to help keep trash out of waterways and protect marine habitat.
