Big Lagoon

Big Lagoon County Park is a Humboldt County day-use and campground park on Park Road, seven miles north of Trinidad adjacent to Humboldt Lagoons State Park at the southern end of Big Lagoon. The park offers beach and lagoon access with a boat ramp, picnic areas, and a 25-site first-come, first-served campground with coin-operated showers, restrooms and a camp host. Visitors kayak, fish, beachcomb and camp on the largest lagoon of the Humboldt Lagoons system, where a sandy bar separates the brackish lagoon from the Pacific Ocean.
