Redwood Regatta

Humboldt Yacht Club's premier sailing event held over Labor Day Weekend at Big Lagoon (Humboldt Lagoons State Park). Racing on Saturday Sept 5 and Sunday Sept 6, 2026 with first shape at 12:00pm both days; registrant check-in 8:30-9:30am Sat and Skippers' Meetings 11:00am Sat & Sun. Camping for registrants begins 1:30pm Thursday Sept 3 through Labor Day Monday Sept 7, with boat launch, campfire and food. BBQ dinner Saturday 6pm (Tri-Tip, Chicken or Vegetarian with sides, Kid's hot dogs) and camp breakfast Sunday 8-9am (pancakes, sausage, eggs). Open to all trailerable boats; classes scored with 3+ same design, otherwise grouped into High/Low Performance.
