About this event
Take A Child Outside Day (TACO Day) is a festival of fun outdoor play for kids and their caregivers. On Saturday, October 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., local environmental educators offer nature-based activities, games, and information throughout the Arcata Marsh. Kids fill their 'eco-passport' by adventuring around Butcher's Slough and Log Pond. Teachers and school staff are encouraged to attend and learn about field trips, in-class presentations, and educational opportunities at each station. Free admission.
