Join Friends of the Arcata Marsh (FOAM) for a free docent-led bike tour of the 307-acre Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary. Learn how the City of Arcata's wastewater treatment plant integrates with freshwater, brackish and salt marshes, identify birds and plants along the Pacific Flyway, and hear local history. Meet shortly before 2pm Sunday, September 13 at the Arcata Marsh Interpretive Center, 569 South G St. Tour uses both paved and gravel trails; all ages welcome. Free FOAM bike bell for cyclists.
