Paper Jam

Paper Jam is a five-piece jangle-pop band from Texas (Watauga/Denton-Fort Worth area). Their album 'This and That' [KLP330/PRNL77] tackles triumphant love-sick earworms mixed with self-referential lyricism, seeped in Texas tradition by way of Dunedin, Glasgow and Olympia. The shambolic, colorful jangle - with shakers, cymbal dings, chord changes and girl-group flourishes - continues the journey of the 'Polka Dot Girl' across 10 songs at 33 RPM, recorded and mixed Dec 2024-Jan 2025 in Watauga, TX by Taylor Rivers and Mason Blair and mastered by Fred Thomas.
