Nature Journaling with Friends of the Arcata Marsh

Join seasoned naturalist Lynn Jones for monthly Nature Journaling with Friends of the Arcata Marsh (FOAM). Held on the last Sunday of each month at 10 a.m. at the Arcata Marsh Interpretive Center - walk to a spot in the Marsh to practice sensory observation, exploring relationships in nature with 45 minutes of quiet writing/drawing, 1.5-2 hours total. Free, limited to first 10 people, no pre-registration required. All ages welcome so long as participants can concentrate quietly for an extended period. FOAM provides clipboards and colored pencils; bring paper/journal, writing/drawing tools, and a pad or folding chair to sit on. Binoculars and guidebooks optional. Wear weather-appropriate clothing.
