About this event
Twelve years ago, while poring over a deck of Tarot cards, Zoe Jakes was inspired to create a work of art as powerful as the cards themselves. House of Tarot soon became an experiment in ritual theater, represented by life-sized cards and the dancers as the actors within those cards. At times represented by the artistry of dance, and at times visceral performance art, the show is about the present moment, the beauty and ugliness of life, and seeing humanity in every moment.
