About this event
A Celebration of Music, Dance & Community at the Eureka Theater. Join us for a memorable evening of soul-stirring music and vibrant dance! Paula Jones, one of Humboldt County's most beloved vocalists, takes the stage at the historic Eureka Theater for Cornucopia, a one-night-only concert celebrating the rich tapestry of jazz, funk, and gospel. Paula's powerful voice, shaped by her early years singing in her father's church choir, blends spiritual depth with the improvisational fire of jazz and the irresistible grooves of R&B. She will be joined by an all-star lineup of local musicians, vocalists, and dancers: Mike LaBolle on drums, Phoenix on bass, Bob Ebenstein on piano, Paul Patterson on jazz violin and guitar, background vocalists Leslie Rodelander, Tina Peterson, and Lorien Sanchez, special guest Nathan White, Ballet Folklórico de Humboldt performing traditional Mexican folkloric dance, Zalayah, prima ballerina Ahava, and mistress of ceremonies Sharrone Blanck. Come for the music, stay for the community, and help fill the Eureka Theater with joy.
