Community Beautification Public Lands Day

Join BLM King Range, Cove Connect, Friends of the Lost Coast (FOLC) and community partners for Community Beautification Public Lands Day at Mal Coombs Park on Saturday, September 19, 9am-noon with free lunch noon-1pm and National Public Lands Day t-shirts for volunteers. Two teams meet at 9am: (1) Shelter Cove Road & Community Clean-up led by CERT & SCPOA — meet at RID/Fire Dept site on Shelter Cove Rd; (2) Painting of facilities and trash/recycle bins at Mal Coombs Park and Black Sands Beach led by BLM King Range — meet at Mal Coombs Park, 1176 Lower Pacific Dr. Partners include BLM King Range, Cove Connect, SCARF, CERT, RID, SCFD, FOLC and SCPOA.
