About this event
The Arcata Plaza Farmers' Market runs every Saturday year-round, rain or shine. April through November hours are 9 a.m.-2 p.m.; December through March, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Hosted by the North Coast Growers' Association, it is the largest of their markets, with over 70 local farmers and makers at peak season selling Humboldt County-grown produce, meat, fish, cheese, eggs, bread, flowers and plants. The center food court features hot food vendors, and live local music plays each week (Wild Otis on Oct. 24). Families picnic on the plaza grass. No pets allowed; trained ADA-certified service animals welcome. CalFresh EBT customers receive a $15 Market Match. Full Plaza street closure each Saturday, 6 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
