Halloween on the Plaza: a frightfully fun family evening on Saturday, Oct. 31, 4-7 p.m. on the Arcata Plaza, hosted by the Arcata Chamber of Commerce and Humboldt Made. Features trick-or-treating, local vendors, food and drinks, a festive bar for adults, face painting, and live entertainment including music by The Dead Drops, plus performances by The Dancing Witches and Emerald Aerialists. Costumes highly encouraged. Part of Arcata's Season of Wonder & Light; earlier in the afternoon Centro del Pueblo hosts a Día de Muertos walk from the Sanctuary Garden to the Plaza.
