Award-winning NorCal songwriter Matthew Wallace and his band the Flying Saucers (also billed as the Stolen Horses) blend Southern rock, soulful blues and psychedelic country with a Countredelic Emerald Triangle sound. Born and raised in Kaufman County, Texas and long based in Hayfork before relocating to Humboldt County (Eureka/Arcata area), Wallace is known for unforgettable vocal performances, flavorful lyrics and bottleneck slide guitar, banjo and piano. He has headlined the Trinity County Fair and Bigfoot BBQ, featured at Blue Lake Casino, toured the Southwest in 2022, and released albums 'Pyramids & Street Corners' (2018) and 'Shovel Ready' (2021) featuring 'California's On Fire' and 'Mambo Queen.'
