Ella Ray Kondrat

Ella Ray Kondrat is a singer-songwriter based in Kingston, New York, whose music lives at the meeting point of indie folk, neo-folk and ethereal vocal harmony. Her songs pair inventive acoustic guitar work with unexpected harmonic and melodic turns, and she performs both solo and alongside her sister Katy Kondrat as The Kondrat Sisters, drawing on Appalachian ballads, jazz and Eastern European folk traditions. Her 2019 album Hum to Your Heart was recorded at Lone Pine Studio in Kingston with contributions from Katy Kondrat, Eli Winograd and Jacquelyn Timberlake. She tours nationally, sharing bills and touring runs with artists such as Liana Gabel.
