Pigeon Point is a scenic campground and river access site on the Wild and Scenic Trinity River off Highway 299, about 15 miles west of Weaverville near Willow Creek, managed by the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. It sits at the put-in for the popular Pigeon Point whitewater run with Class III rapids and offers pull-through parking for boat trailers, picnic pavilion, fire rings and vault toilets for camping. Visitors use the site for camping, fishing, swimming, kayaking, rafting and hand-launch boating on the Trinity River, with several commercial guides operating raft trips from this access point.
