The McKinleyville Branch Library is a branch of the Humboldt County Library located in Pierson Park at 1606 Pickett Road, maintained by the McKinleyville Community Services District and operated by Humboldt County. Expanded in 2010 with a 720-square-foot conference room with Wi-Fi and projector, it offers books, movies, music, public computers, free Wi-Fi, printing, scanning and a community study space. The branch hosts regular free programs including preschool story times, author events, retro craft days and community puzzle activities, supported by the nonprofit Friends of the McKinleyville Library.
