Humboldt Coastal Nature Center

The Humboldt Coastal Nature Center in Manila is operated by Friends of the Dunes and serves as a public gateway to over 1,000 acres of coastal dunes and Humboldt Bay habitats. Its exhibits, trails and facilities are the only center on California's North Coast where people of all ages and abilities can experience diverse dune habitats through experiential education, hands-on restoration activities and conservation-focused recreation. The center is open Wednesday-Saturday 10am-4pm and hosts school programs, guided nature walks, summer camps and community events, offering accessible trails, beach wheelchairs, and facility rentals.
