Established in 1868, the Ferndale Cemetery is one of California's most beautiful and historic burial sites, sweeping up a rhododendron-covered hillside to a crest overlooking the Eel River Valley and westward to the Pacific Ocean. It is managed by a volunteer board of directors as a 501(c)(13) non-profit organization.
