The Eureka Cultural Arts District (ECAD) is a California Arts Council–designated cultural district spanning Eureka's Old Town and downtown, from Blue Ox Millworks and the Eureka Slough to Waterfront Drive and Seventh Street. A partnership of the Wiyot Tribe, Ink People Center for the Arts, Eureka Main Street, and the City of Eureka, it serves as a hub for galleries, museums, theaters, murals, public art, restaurants, and performance venues. Year-round programming includes the monthly First Saturday Arts Alive! art walk, the Eureka Street Art Festival, and the annual Culture Commons Festival featuring free music, dance, film, crafts, and cuisine across the district.
