Blue Lake Branch Library
The Blue Lake Branch Library is a small public branch of the Humboldt County Library system located just behind Blue Lake City Hall at 111 Greenwood Avenue. Established July 31, 1915 with 241 books, 9 magazines and 3 newspapers, it now offers books, DVDs, audiobooks, free Wi-Fi and public computers, with materials from any Humboldt County branch available for request. Open Wednesdays 2-7 p.m. and Saturdays 11 a.m.-4 p.m., it hosts Story Time with Ms. Julia, Summer Reading garden crafts, and rotating art displays by Blue Lake Elementary students.
