The Willow Creek-China Flat Museum, commonly called the Bigfoot Museum, is located at 38949 Highway 299 in Willow Creek — the self-proclaimed "Bigfoot Capital of the World" near Bluff Creek where the famous 1967 Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot film was shot. It is best known for its Bigfoot Collection featuring the world's largest collection of Bigfoot artifacts including original footprint casts by Bob Titmus (including casts from the Patterson-Gimlin film site), photos, newspaper articles, and sighting maps. The museum also preserves local history with exhibits on logging, mining, pioneer and Chinese heritage, including a full replication of a miner's cabin, and is open seasonally Wednesday-Sunday with free admission by donation.
