Welcome Space Brothers

Documentary from "The Source Family" director Jodi Wille diving into the extraordinary true story of the Unarius Academy of Science, an extraterrestrial-channeling spiritual school founded in El Cajon, California in the 1970s. Led by the dazzlingly outlandish Ruth E. Norman — revered as "Archangel Uriel" — Unarius evolved into a wildly inventive public-access TV phenomenon, producing films that appeared to be elaborately campy space epics yet were, at their core, sincere therapeutic works. Produced by Wille and Caryn Capotosto ("Won't You Be My Neighbor"); executive producers include Elijah Wood, Moby, and Oscar-winning filmmakers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. Premieres Friday 10/9 at 9:00 pm, with encore "Taco Tuesday" screenings 10/13 and 10/20 at 7:00 pm.
