Anna & The Situation is a Humboldt County blues-rock power trio from Eureka, California, fronted by singer-songwriter, guitarist and harmonica player Anna Hamilton. Previously known as The Anna Hamilton Trio, the powerhouse features versatile musicians Mat Hanf on drums and Dave Wilson III on bass (Dave Peterson on the 2023 album 'Eureka! I Found the Blues!') and plays a mix of blues and rock from Anna's catalogue. Signed to Loveforce International Publishing, their debut album together 'Eureka! I Found the Blues!' was recorded, mixed and mastered locally by Dominic Romano at Bongo Boy Studios and released August 19, 2024. The group regularly plays Humboldt venues including the Wave Lounge at Blue Lake Casino and The Speakeasy in Eureka.
