About this event
The New Pelicans are a Humboldt County Americana band featuring guitarists/songwriters Mike Bynum and Michael Walker (both Georgia transplants, formerly of The Handshakers), with Paul DeMark on drums, Gary Davidson on bass/vocals, and Darren Weiss on mandolin. Blending alt and vintage country, Southern soul, rockabilly and New Orleans rhythm, they play originals and Americana covers and have performed at venues including Wrangletown Cider/North Story Wines in Arcata and Fieldbrook Winery's Friday concert series. Past shows have featured special guest Turtle Goodwater (Barn Fire).
