The Minutes

Redwood Curtain Theatre presents Tracy Letts' dark comedy 'The Minutes,' set entirely during a small-town city council meeting where newcomer Mr. Peel presses for answers about missing meeting minutes and a council member's unexplained absence. What starts as sharp satire of petty bureaucracy builds to a sinister, shocking revelation about the town's founding. Directed by Craig Benson. Runs September 17–October 10, 2026. The performance is about 2 hours 15 minutes with one intermission; contains sensitive themes (racial stereotypes/slurs, violence, reference to sexual harassment) and sensory effects (strobe/flashing lights, blackouts, theatrical fog), not recommended for anyone under high school age.
