About this event
Redwood Curtain Theatre presents Tracy Letts' The Minutes — a dark comedy set entirely during a small-town city council meeting where newcomer Mr. Peel asks relentlessly about missing minutes and the absence of a fellow council member. What begins as sharp satire of petty bureaucracy builds to a sinister, shocking revelation about the town's founding — a modern allegory about how communities remember or conceal uncomfortable truths. Directed by Craig Benson. Runs ~2 hours 15 minutes with one intermission. Talk-back with audience after Friday Sept 25 performance. Contains racial stereotypes/slurs, violence, reference to sexual harassment and sensory effects (strobe/flashing lights, sudden blackouts, fog) — not recommended under high school age.
