About this event
Do you love tales of magic, technology, and places that never were? Indulge your imagination with the 'Out of This World' Book Club, a book discussion group focused on fantasy and science fiction at the Eureka Main Library. This month's pick is "Godkiller" by Hannah Kaner. Gods are forbidden in the kingdom of Middren; after a great war the king outlawed them and pays 'godkillers' to destroy any who rise from the shadows. Morally grey hero Kissen, who kills gods for a living, is tasked with helping a young noble girl whose soul is bonded to a tiny god of white lies, setting this unlikely found family on a journey to the ruined city of Blenraden. Meets usually the 3rd Saturday of every month. Contact: 707-269-1915.
