About this event
Science on Tap, presented monthly by the Eel River Watershed Improvement Group, is a free educational lecture series. The October edition features UC Cooperative Extension Staff Research Associate Wallis Robinson giving a spine-chilling talk on Sudden Oak Death, a deadly plant pathogen that has been spreading north through California's forests and is now present on the North Coast. Talks start at 6 p.m.; arrive early to secure a seat and grab a local beverage from the Paskenta Mad River Brewery. All proceeds/donations support the continuation of Science on Tap events and in-stream restoration projects organized by ERWIG. Carpooling is encouraged as parking is limited.
