Imaad Wasif

Imaad Wasif (lowercase, alaska!) is touring the West Coast, playing intimate venues. He'll explore music from all his solo albums and beyond. Wasif has released seven solo albums to date including 2026's acclaimed "Superconsciousness." With a history including collaborations with Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Karen O, Lou Barlow, fronting the L.A. underground slowcore band lowercase, the psych-rock mavericks alaska! and the death folk project Grim Tower (with Stephen Mcbean from Black Mountain) he continues to push the boundaries of rock, folk, and experimental music. "I'm trying to reconnect to the embryonic pure state, outside of all the insanity of the world right now... leaning farther into the traditions of dark folk." Opening set from Humboldt's own Bleater.
