Humboldt Dockside Saturday Seafood Market

Humboldt Dockside Market returns every Saturday (June 6 through Oct. 31, no market July 4) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (or until sold out) at Madaket Plaza in Old Town Eureka. Local fishermen from Shelter Cove to Orick set up canopies to sell fresh, locally caught seasonal seafood — rockfish, halibut, crab and other specialties — straight from their boats. Shoppers can take seafood home whole or have it processed at the on-site fillet station, where fishermen share tips and recipes. EBT is accepted.
