Humboldt Fishermen's Dockside Market at Madaket Plaza (foot of C Street) in Eureka brings fresh, locally caught seafood directly from Humboldt-based fishermen from Shelter Cove to Orick. Run by North Coast Growers Association, the bi-weekly market runs Saturdays 9am-1pm, June 6 - October 31 (until sold out). Vendors sell fish, crab and specialties straight from their boats; shoppers can take seafood home whole or have it custom-cut and wrapped at the on-site fillet/filet station with tips, recipes and preparation guidance. Meet fishermen, hear sea stories, learn about sustainable local fishing traditions and food system. More than a market - a community connection to fishermen and food. CalFresh/EBT accepted.
