Family-friendly Halloween evening at Humboldt Redwoods State Park on the Avenue of the Giants, Saturday, Oct. 24, 6-10 p.m. Park at Dyerville Overlook (Hwy 101 exit #663) and take the shuttle to a self-guided walk along a redwood forest trail lit by 1,100 luminaries.
