Fortuna Farmers' Market

Fortuna Certified Farmers' Market — Tuesdays 3-6pm, May through end of October on 10th St between Main and L St in downtown Fortuna. Presented by North Coast Growers' Association, bringing GMO-free produce and plants grown in Humboldt County from Willow Creek and Kneeland to Carlotta and Ferndale, with farms, ranches, nurseries and prepared food vendors. Seasonal bounty includes fresh greens, garden starts, strawberries, tomatoes, squash, peppers (sweet bells to Scotch Bonnets), herbs and flowers, peaches, plums, blackberries, pumpkins, winter squash and locally bred apples from 100-year-old trees, plus nuts, meat, fish, eggs, oysters and hot food options. Accepts CalFresh EBT with $15 Market Match. Free admission — no ticket required.
