Fortuna Farmers' Market

The Fortuna Certified Farmers' Market runs Tuesdays, 3-6pm, from May through the end of October. Located at 10th St between Main and L St in downtown Fortuna, it brings the bounty of local farms, ranches, nurseries and prepared food vendors to customers. All produce and plants are grown in Humboldt County and are GMO-free. Shoppers find fresh greens, garden starts, landscaping and edible plants, big juicy strawberries, tomatoes and squash, peppers from sweet bells to spicy Scotch Bonnets, fresh cut herbs and flowers, and peaches, plums and blackberries through the summer. Fall brings pumpkins, winter squash and locally bred apple varieties. Produce comes from across the county, from Willow Creek and Kneeland to Carlotta and Ferndale. The market accepts CalFresh EBT and provides a $15 Market Match.
