Fortuna Farmers' Market

Fortuna Certified Farmers' Market, hosted by the North Coast Growers' Association, runs Tuesdays 3-6pm from May through the end of October at 10th Street between Main and L Streets in downtown Fortuna. It brings the bounty of local Eel River Valley farms to customers, with a variety of farms, ranches, nurseries and prepared food vendors. All produce and plants are grown in Humboldt County and GMO-free. Shoppers find fresh greens, garden starts, landscaping and edible plants, strawberries, summer tomatoes, squash, peppers, stone fruit and berries, plus fall pumpkins, winter squash and locally bred apple varieties from trees up to a hundred years old. The market also offers fruit, veggies, nuts, meat, fish, eggs, oysters and hot food options, and accepts CalFresh EBT with a $15 Market Match. Free to attend.
