Certified farmers' market on 10th St between Main and L St in downtown Fortuna, held Tuesdays 3-6pm from May through end of October. Local farms, ranches, nurseries and prepared-food vendors offer produce grown entirely in Humboldt County and GMO-free: spring strawberries and garden starts, summer tomatoes, squash, sweet-to-spicy peppers (including Scotch Bonnets), peaches, plums, blackberries, herbs and cut flowers, plus fall pumpkins, winter squash and heirloom apples from century-old Eel River Valley trees.
