Festival of the Sea

A three-day, all-ages gathering celebrating the wild beauty, rich flavors and coastal spirit of Humboldt through local food, outdoor adventure, live music, coastal education and salty fun. Friday opens with the Coastal Harvest Dinner at Trinidad Town Hall, featuring Hog Island Oyster Co. CeCe Seafood, wine from Moonstone Crossing, beer from Six Rivers Brewery, live music, a keynote speaker and a silent auction. Saturday's Explore the Coast day offers guided hikes, tidepooling, wildlife watching, kelp and seaweed exploration and adaptive sea kayaking, plus a community hub with local vendors, partner organizations and live music. Sunday closes with Birds of Trinidad Bay & Head, a relaxed morning of birding, conservation, food and community. Festival events take place at locations throughout Trinidad.
