Join us for a day of exploration in the charming coastal town of Trinidad. We'll begin with a guided interpretive hike to the Trinidad Head Lighthouse led by a Bureau of Land Management interpreter, where you'll learn about the area's natural and cultural history while enjoying sweeping views of the ocean. From there, we'll continue on the Trinidad Head Loop Trail before spending time exploring the town, relaxing at the beach, or visiting the harbor, local art galleries, and shops. We'll wrap up the day with a drive along Scenic Drive, one of Humboldt County's most picturesque coastal roads. This is the perfect opportunity to experience the North Coast, learn from local experts, and enjoy everything Trinidad has to offer. Hike Details: Trinidad Head Loop – 2 miles Thanks to the support of Associated Students, this program is free for Cal Poly Humboldt students. A $10 refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot and will be returned upon successful completion of the program. This deposit helps reduce last-minute cancellations and ensures opportunities remain available for students who want to participate.
