Depolarization Dialogues

Depolarization Dialogues is a free community discussion group at the Victorian Inn for anyone interested in reaching across the political divide and getting to know their neighbours. It often feels like progressive and conservative Americans do nothing but attack each other — while this may be true in statehouses, online and in the media, when we connect in day-to-day life we are more alike than different. Participants share different perspectives on hot-button issues and learn what makes each other tick, with the goal of turning down the volume on political rhetoric and moving toward national unity, one conversation at a time. There is no set structure; the only requirements are a willingness to share openly and listen respectfully, without judgement.
