Join us for Death Cafe Arcata — a group-directed discussion about death and mortality at Northtown Coffee (1603 G St, Arcata). A Death Cafe is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session, with no agenda, objectives or themes — held on a not-for-profit basis in an accessible, respectful and confidential space, with no intention of leading people to any conclusion, product or course of action. Hosted over tea and cake in an after-hours cafe setting, the goal is to destigmatize death and explore curiosities openly. Duration 1 hour 30 minutes, in-person.
