About this event — from Los Ex de la Banda
Los Ex de la Banda is a banda sinaloense group from Mazatlán, Sinaloa, formed in March 2019 by veteran musicians who had played in La Arrolladora Banda El Limón, La Adictiva and El Coyote between 1995 and 2014. Led by vocalists Miguel Alonso and Rogelio Toledo, the 17-piece ensemble revives the golden era of banda with brass-driven arrangements and a mix of classic hits and new material. The project is directed by Pedro Lizárraga and has released live recordings including Desde Mazatlán Sinaloa and collaborations with Julio Preciado such as "El Abandonado".
