About this event
Join us for an evening exploration of the fascinating world of nocturnal insects! Guided by library gardener and Ferndale Butterfly Garden steward Liz Tjader, participants will learn to identify and observe beneficial insects and discover the important roles they play in our local ecosystems and gardens. Bring a UV light if you have one and see what comes to life after dark! The walk will begin at the library and continue to select gardens and residences in the community. This family-friendly program is open to adults, families, children, teens, and young adults.
