Blues Lunch with acclaimed West Coast blues guitarist Buddy Reed at Oak Deli and Brewery. The Arizona Blues Hall of Fame inductee (recognized by the California State Senate and City of Los Angeles as a creator of the West Coast Blues Sound, known for raw vocals, high-energy staccato rhythm guitar and slide guitar in the style of Muddy Waters/Elmore James) plays a casual solo set Fridays 1-3 p.m. (corner of 11th and H) in Arcata. Order at the counter and enjoy sandwiches, salads, soups and small-batch beers with indoor and outdoor seating. No cover.
